» Walt Disney World Staffer Name
Im trying to land an interview for a management job in a division of Walt Disney World in Orlando. The division is called Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Online (WDPRO)and is in Orlando, FL. Its under the Disney Internet Group (DIG.com) Im trying to find someone inside WDPRO in a leadership position that I can contact via email. Ive found a couple of "high-ups" via Net research (Alan Johnson VP, Ted Jansen VP) and have emailed them but I believe they were TOO high up the ladder...received no acknowledgements. Ive sent my resume through WDW Recruiting already, so a recuiter's name would not suffice.I found this, dated 12/2000, which may (or may not) be useful. Good luck in your job search... » Almost got my camera stolen...from my hand!
So last night I was snapping shots in the city, when this teenager runs across and tries to grab my camera. Luckily I heard the footsteps and turned just in time to hang onto my camera. As he ran past he threw a punch at me, so I gave him a good whack with my small tripod. Anyway alls well that ends well, no damage done, he ran off before I could grab him though. But still, I live in Australia, which is supposed to be one of the world's low-crime places... From now on, I'm wrapping the camera cord several times around my wrist while shooting! This is why I shoot shots in the backwoods.. nobody around to steal my stuff! Acutally I always make sure to wear my camera with the strap around my neck. If they want the camera they are going ...... - 2009-07-04
» Small-scale import of garments from India
Hi, I'd like to import garments - mainly women's tops, pants, shawls - from India, and sell it in the Northern California area. I want to know the US customs tariffs or fees that would be charged. The garments are made of various material - cotton, silk, synthetics. Note that this is not for a big business, hence the shipment size would be fairly small. I would sell occasionally at crafts fairs, flea markets, etc. What are some economical and convenient ways to transfer the goods from the supplier to me? Do I need to use a customs broker? The import duties on the items you mention vary from about 3% to 20% in general. Each item would need to be classified, mainly in chapters 61 and 62 in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) to d...... - 2009-07-04

» I know that may sound stupid BUT...
... I just want to know your point of view. As some of you know, last time I'm walking around and checking prizes of DSLRs. Actually I noticed two cameras that interest me (Nikon d50 or Canon 350d). they cost more less $900 (+$100 for a kit). Then... ok... let's imagine I buy one of those cameras (nevermind which one) and then if I need a zoom I have to buy a tele-lens or something like 70-300 mm and that costs again. Then if I want to shoot macro I need another lens (so extra costs). BUT on the other hand, the market is full of, I'd say, combo cameras like for example Fuji s7000 Zoom (I know it's quite old camera) but: it has the same resolution as Nikon d50, it has "built in" macro mode, huge zoom, but only one not-changed lens (so lowe...... - 2009-07-04

» Help with D50 !! Weird Problem
Hi Everybody! I am new to this site as well as new to photograpy so I hope the problem with my camera is a silly one instead of something serious. Ok, so yesterday I was really playing around with my Nikon D50 settings. Today, I attach the lense and the flashing F-- wont go away, the camera will not let me take any pictures (the focus view is red) and when it does "click" no photo shows up in the view screen. It is just black???!!!??? What is going on? I charged the battery, removed and re-attached the lense, cleaned everything off. I am stumped. Thanks for your help! It's a movie, I believe. I don't watch a lot though. I don't remember a SINGLE thing about it, other than the fact that apparently someone's girlfriend or wife was in a car accident/crash, and caught in such a way that the only thing keeping her alive was the car, or whatever it is she crashed into (pinching something, or holding it into place maybe), and once they remove it she's pretty much gone. It's been horribly bugging me. Would it not be better just to go out and live your life, since this is all we have? With your beliefs that is.Many, not all, atheists are not satisfied in simply not believing. Although they never admit it, they too have a religion that they try to push on everyone else. This is the faith of anti-religion. In this offshoot of atheism, it's followers, are never simply content in adhering to their views and respecting other's beliefs. They instead are determined to tear down any one else's belief system. My favorite approach to study a country's culture is food. Last time I was in Japan I tasted a local speciality from Miyagi Prefecture called "sasakamaboko". It seems to be a very popular little present for everyone passing through Sendai. Sasakamaboko is a boiled fish paste made with ground white fish and is produced all along the Miyagi coast. There are two Ardabil carpets, one in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the other in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. They are dated 1539/1540. What method(s) were used for verification? When were they authenticated? Have further tests been done since? Or was the date in the woven cartouche at one end of the carpet used as the only proof? In my experience, this is usually done by people who know about the styles of the time/place in question. Would women still not the right to vote today? There was no such thing as feminism in 1890, that's the year Wyoming granted women the right to vote. Any time a woman fights for something that she wants and gets it, feminism gets/takes credit for it. Just because women fought for the right to vote doesn't mean they are feminists. There are women who fight an injustice or achieve an accomplishment. Then there are women who are really sexist and want to leach off of these efforts to a) claim a piece of something they had nothing to do with and b) justify their own sexism. I've been doing a lot of research. It looks like the bodies of each run about the same price as far as getting what you pay for. Anyway, this is probably a lot of comparison for nothing, but I don't have anything else better to do anyway. Would all of you people say that for comparing them as much as possible, that Canon and Nikon are pretty much neck and neck as far as price/what you get?Yes- we all say that. Thanks for asking. » What is the nature of the HIV mutations which makes him so difficult to find a cure?
i would like to know something about this...i´m really interested, could you please tell me?It's a virus and viruses are not well understood by the medical profession no matter how much they tell you they can find a "cure." The human species has been generating natural immunity to most ailments like AIDS for eons. Vaccinations are a joke and damaging many people. To find a "cure" for aids is a big money making deal. It's like polio. The vaccine generated more cases of severe polio attacks than the disease. It was on it's way out of the human race when the vaccine was developed that got credit where credit was NOT due it. 95% of everyone that got polio didn't even know it because it was typically a very mild dis...... - 2009-07-04

» Funniest thing in Japanese
Anyone a few years into the langauge knows that Japanese humor is usually... well... not very funny. At least not in the ways we're used to. I searched around the forums and found no link to this. It's a bit old (I saw it a year ago I think) but I still laugh when I watch it. Probably sounds familiar to anyone that recalls their first year of Japanese. This will be a good lesson on a lot of ways NOT to say things. Enjoy. http://pine.zero.ad.jp/yori/shinbashi.swfLMAO! That was awesomely funny. It reminded me of being in Japanese class, especially the one guy who would lag behind. And how could you not love ƒVƒ“ƒoƒVAƒVƒ“ƒoƒVAƒVƒ“ƒoƒVI Thanks for sharing, GP. :D:DThat was very funny. » Upgradding Xbox Hard Drive?
Ok so I am looking to replace the Hard drive in my Xbox v1.6b to a 250-300gb drive, are there any particular brands or models which are better than others? Or do I need to purchase any special drive? Not too sure about the difference in brands. i'm sure plenty of people will have their own opinions on different brands. Anyway, i've been using a WD 300gb for about a year with no probs. Obviously it has to be an IDE drive. Higher cache sizes dont matter, as the xbox only utilises 2mb of HDD cache (IIRC). The major consideration is whether you want to go on xbox live. If you do, you will need a hard drive that is lockable (the xbox will treat it as a standard original xbox hard disk with the mod chip turned off). Even if you dont want to play...... - 2009-07-04

We must never under estimate the ability of the terrorists to bring the war right into our houses, for this is exactly what they have done in Mumbai. The terrorists seek to separate us from each other and by targetting Americans and Britons, they hope to persuade other nationals that they are not being targetted. Don't be fooled. » How would you define a " most important" belief? (religious)?
One you have been indoctrinated to believe is important.Easy! A belief that has more weight and concerns the highest principles as opposed to others. In the Muslim religion, most Muslims say that the Unity of God is the most important thing to believe of all. Jews would concur with that. Being right or wrong here is FAR more important to a Jew or Muslim than say being right or wrong about the Sabbath or whether masturbation is a sin or not. In philosophy, these principles, these unproven axioms are called necessaries, as all other principles are deduced from them and are contingent. You can't call yourself a Christian if you don't even believe in God could you? Belief in God's existence is a necessary doctrine ...... - 2009-07-04

Since I switched to the HE type of soap I have noticed a musty smell on our bath towels after they get damp. Is the answer to go back to regular Laundry soap? The manufacturer says not.yesadd baking soda to the loadsI've used HE and regular detergents in our Whirlpool front-loader, and I have never had that problem. Use the extra rinse feature and set the spin to "Extra High". I've never used fabric softener of any kind with towels; perhaps that is the problem. Set the dryer fro 5 minutes longer than you do now when you use the "Timed Dry" setting. If you use the "Automatic Dry", set it for 34 minutes, and the dryer will take care of the rest. You have to run the dryer longer for towels than for anything else. Note that if yo...... - 2009-07-04

Absolutely. Make sure the antenna you select has a 75 ohm connector so you can use coaxial cable. Connect the antenna to a "splitter" available at any hardware or electronics store. Connect the cables from the various rooms to the output terminals on the splitter. If the signal is not strong enough you can use a splitter with an amplifier. My husband and I moved into an apartment complex in July. The maintenance man had some things to fix and at that time made a copy of our key. Shortly after, weird things started happening. At first, it would be things out of place, books missing. Odd things like that. Then one day I found a woman's shirt and earring that did not belong to me in our basement. At first I thought it was my husband being dumb enough to bring another woman in my house, but it didn't make sense and I had no evidence,so I discussed it with him and genuinely belived he was innocent of such wrong doing. Yesterday, I found a Zane book of mine that had gone missing weeks after we moved in. It was right in the place that I left it before it disappeared. It w...... - 2009-07-04

Costello outlines bird flu risks http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,20301682-29277,00.html A REGIONAL outbreak of bird flu would be traumatic economically, Treasurer Peter Costello has said. "If there were an outbreak of bird flu that would be probably the most severe economic shock that the region could have," Mr Costello said on ABC Radio. His comments come ahead of an Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) meeting of finance ministers in Vietnam next week. "If there was an outbreak then you'd have to close borders, you'd have close cross border trade, you'd have to close movement of people, you would have obviously a lot of companies that would have to stop production," Mr Costello said. I would sell occasionally at crafts fairs, flea markets, etc. What are some economical and convenient ways to transfer the goods from the supplier to me? Do I need to use a customs broker? The import duties on the items you mention vary from about 3% to 20% in general.

(Ooooh) It's been the longest winter without you I didn't know where to turn to See somehow I can't forget you After all that we've been through Going coming thought I heard a knock Who's there no one Thinking that I deserve it Now I realize that I really didn't know If you didn't notice you meant everything Quickly I'm learning to love again All I know is I'm gon' be ok [Chorus:] Thought I couldn't live without you It's gonna hurt when it heals too It'll all get better in time Even though I really love you I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to It'll all get better in time I couldn't turn on the TV Without something there to remind me W...... - 2009-07-04
» What are some good websites that present facts that prove that evolution is a false theory?
I am a Christian girl doing a debate about creation verses evolution and i have to present facts the disporve evolution without bringing religion into it. I know it can be done i just need the resourses to get the information to do this. There are no "facts" that prove evolution to be a false theory. The facts are that there is no evidence that creationism is true.http://www.heavenlyresources.c... Report Abuse As October stated - you will not find any "good" websites to support this hypothesis. Creationism is not And all websites which purport to demonstrate that Evolution is "false" are full of spurious arguments and often misrepresent science....... - 2009-07-04
» [Fixed] v2.3.0-prior: URLs containing "://" will be incorrectly parsed
Hi all, There's a small bug in the regex that checks for the presence of a protocol defined in a url. in admin/functions.php: if(!preg_match("![a-z]://!si", $url)) { will match any instance of "://" anywhere in a URL. This means that urls entered into a post such as: www.some.site/view?http://www.another.site (note the lack of a http:// prefix) .. will NOT be prefixed with "http://" and will pass the regex. It should be: if(!preg_match("!^[a-z]+://!si", $url)) { Best wishes, PaulMoved to Bugs for a Dev to check.fixed.fixed. Ähhhh and where can I find the fix??In 2.3.1 when it's released.Ah - ok. I am thinking of relocating to Sedona Arizona. I have a 13 yr old who enjoys a school that has art and music classes and she is what I would describe as alternative vs. "popular" She plays both suzuki violin and celtic fiddle and wants to continue playing and having lessons. She also wants to play basketball in school on a girls team or run track or both. She is brilliant with computers and loves animals. I want to find the best school and also want to know if there are any violin /fiddle teacher's groups in the area. the school thing is huge too. How c an I find the school that is right for her. » Method(s) used for verifying age of the two Ardabil carpets.
Of course, carbon dating is possible. It would be accurate to within a few years. I imagine, if it was really important, both methods would be used. 1500 is not that long ago, and lots of records would still be around....... - 2009-07-04

Many organizations talk about SMEs (small and medium scale enterprises). E.g. in the context of aid programmes for developing countries or incentives from governments in Europe... Could you find some websites which refer to the size of SMEs, e.g. defining them as companies with less than 100 employees (or whatever the number might be). Might also be that some use turnover or capital/equity as limit - but I am not sure. It is primarily the size definition related to developing countries I am after - more than definitions in the US or Europe. » If there was no feminism ever?
Would women still not the right to vote today? There was no such thing as feminism in 1890, that's the year Wyoming granted women the right to vote. Any time a woman fights for something that she wants and gets it, feminism gets/takes credit for it. Just because women fought for the right to vote doesn't mean they are feminists. There are women who fight an injustice or achieve an accomplishment. Then there are women who are really sexist and want to leach off of these efforts to a) claim a piece of something they had nothing to do with and b) justify their own sexism. For me, I guess the key is telling the difference and giving credit where it's due: to individuals, not groups or labels. So I guess my round-a-bou...... - 2009-07-04

Along with an Irish blessing underneath "Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand." I also am not sure where I want to get it exactly. I was thinking on the left side of my back seeing I have a tatto of my family crest on my right arm. I guess I thought the Left side to "balance" it out. Or I was also thinking my left Pec. Not quite sure pros and cons appreciated. OH Im getting this tatto because even though my baby sisters have passed on I will always be there big brother. So I dont want to hear dont get it. Co-ordination between different countries has been identified as a key element to the successful response to a pandemic, which is why Canada for the past year has been working with the United States and Mexico to develop an integrated strategy that aims to complement national response plans and goes further by facilitating information sharing between all three countries prior to an outbreak. » Is there really a difference between Canon and Nikon (regarding price)?
I've been doing a lot of research. It looks like the bodies of each run about the same price as far as getting what you pay for. I've noticed when both Canon and Nikon have a lens that's basically the same, the Canon one is usually slightly less expensive, but the flashes for Canons run more than the Nikons. Anyway, this is probably a lot of comparison for nothing, but I don't have anything else better to do anyway. Would all of you people say that for comparing them as much as possible, that Canon and Nikon are pretty much neck and neck as far as price/what you get?Yes- we all say that. Thanks for asking. i would like to know something about this...i´m really interested, could you please tell me?It's a virus and viruses are not well understood by the medical profession no matter how much they tell you they can find a "cure." The human species has been generating natural immunity to most ailments like AIDS for eons. Vaccinations are a joke and damaging many people. To find a "cure" for aids is a big money making deal. It's like polio. The vaccine generated more cases of severe polio attacks than the disease. Anyone a few years into the langauge knows that Japanese humor is usually... well... not very funny. At least not in the ways we're used to. I searched around the forums and found no link to this.
